HAIRMANIFESTSCARLET
I went through a hair transformation. I changed the idea of a goth girl and found my own elegant goth style. Follow me if you want.
I once had long brown hair.
Then I cut it shorter.
Then I let it grow again- a little bit
It was never about trends.
It was about testing the space I was allowed to take.

I cut my hair when I needed air.
I grew it when I needed time.
The cut was not a decision —
it was a process.
There was a time when length was a shelter.
Hair framed my face so not everything could be seen.
Disciplined. Quiet. Functional.
But Satin was never about length.
Satin was about surface, light, and touch.
About no longer wanting to hide.
I eventually arrived at medium length.
The hair of a girl in a black negligee touched with pink.
Not girlish. Not theatrical.
Balanced precisely between skin and intention.
This length is not a compromise.
It is stillness after movement.
The hair is no longer armor.
It is presence.
